If you’re an admirer of the founder of the Rolling
Stones and wish to join and support the activities of the Brian
Jones Fan Club, make a donation to the BJFC Fund to assist the
research into Brian’s death, or support the fan club by purchasing
products exclusive to the BJFC then this page allows you that
facility, all under one roof so to speak.
By moving your mouse over the shopping menu and
selecting a product you’ll be taken to the page that allows you to place
one or more of those items into your shopping cart. The same shopping
menu appears on each page and by reselecting a product you can add
further items to your shopping cart. On completion of your shopping,
just like a supermarket, you’ll then be directed to the checkout where
payment can be made for your purchases.
The simplest and most economical way to pay for
your purchases is by using your credit or debit card. We utilise
PayPal, arguably one of the most secure online payment facility on the Web.
In our association with PayPal, one
of the safest and most widely used credit card facilities on the World
Wide Web, we’ve never had one incident of fraud, or received any
complaint of wrongdoing from any of our members or customers. When using
PayPal, any transaction using your credit or debit card will appear as
BJFC-Internet on your monthly statement, and when made in pounds
sterling will appear converted in your own currency at the exchange rate
for that particular date.
On completion of shopping you will reach the
Billing/Shipping Information page where you will be asked to enter
your name and address etc. Please complete all of the mandatory boxes.
At the foot of the page you will find the options: Print Cheque Order
or PayPal Secure Gateway, by clicking the latter you will be
referred to the Order Submission Page where you can check the
contents in your shopping cart, add any relevant additional comments
regarding additional shipping details etc. and go on, to complete your
order, by clicking through to the secure credit and debit card
page to enter your personal details. You will, within a few minutes,
receive an e-mail confirming your order and payment from PayPal.
Understandably, many people prefer not to use
credit and debit cards on the Internet. If you prefer to pay by another
method, then by following the above procedure until you reach the
Billing/Shipping Information page, and entering your name and
address details etc. you will find the option Print Cheque Order
at the foot of the page. After you’ve checked the contents of your
shopping cart are correct, please print your order by clicking on
Print Cheque Order and in doing so we will be copied your order
complete with your Unique Order Number.
Immediately we receive your preferred payment
method (please see options below) we will despatch your ordered items.
As stated above, the facility of being able to
print your order (with a unique Purchase Order Number) on completion of
shopping is provided at the Billing/Shipping Information page and
allows you the choice of paying for your products with a credit or debit
card or by alternate methods if preferred.
If you would prefer to pay by cheque or money order
then we would be pleased to offer that facility also. Unfortunately, for
cheques and money orders we have to add the equivalent of £7.00
(sterling) to any order to cover bank and exchange charges here in the
UK. There is a currency converter on the menu to the left and we
would appreciate you adding the charge to your total. Please make your
cheque/money order payable to The Brian Jones Fan Club (or BJFC)
and mail your payment, along with your unique Purchase Order Number, to

Cash is also an option but we cannot be responsible
for any losses in the post, many people have preferred this method of
payment in the past and to date, we have had no losses in the post – but
there is always a risk with this method. Please mail your payment to the
above address and please do not forget to add the equivalent of £7.00
(sterling) when making a cash payment in your own currency but, if you
send pounds sterling then obviously the bank charges will not apply.
Also, please do not draw attention to cash in an envelope by sending
coinage, we would advise that you round the cash amount up to nearest
whole bank note. Please advise us by e-mail or phone if sending cash,
together with your unique Purchase Order Number and we will immediately
advise you of safe receipt.
Cash by Western Union is another option, please
ensure that the cash is received in pounds sterling and quote Trevor
Hobley as the recipient using photo id as proof of identity. Please
e-mail the Western Union Transaction Number along with your unique
Purchase Order Number to
